Films: Swamp Shark (2011)
Alias: None
Type: Natural
Location: Swamp
Height/Weight: That of an average great white.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: Sharks sure end up in the most impractical of places. Most of the time, it's because humans had a part in it. Here...well actually, that's what happened. The only thing is that the shark here is a cut above the rest.
History: Accidentally released by an animal smuggler into the shallow waters of Louisiana, this shark quickly adapted to the new area. It had also developed a hankering for eating alligators and people, the latter of which was so much easier to munch. And while this might not be the most redneck-infected area of the south, it's still an ideal feeding ground for a killer shark.
Notable Kills: Jumps in the air to bite someone’s head off while they're peeping.
Final Fate: In time, the people get together to entrap the shark, pulling it into a giant rotary fan. With some effort, the shark is reduced to salsa, and the swamplands return to normal.
Powers/Abilities: None.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3-As per usual, we got ourselves some low-budget CGI for a low-budget creature. But hey, at least we get some practical effects here and there, right? Eh, it kind of works. And there is something a bit unsettling about a moss-covered shark. It just blends right in...
Trivia: -Louisiana has had shark attacks before. But alas, they are the handiwork of the bull shark, the only shark that can prosper in fresh water.
-This film was directed by Griff Furst, who's actually more of an actor than he is a director. Considering he made this, can you blame him?
